Hempitecture Wins Government Funding

Hemp specialist receives $8.4 million to create processing facility in Idaho

Hempitecture Inc., located in Jerome, Idaho has been tapped to receive $8.4 million in funding from the Department of Energy as part of the Biden Administration’s Investing in America program. The funding will create an industrial fiber hemp processing and manufacturing facility produce high performing products, with a 60-80% reduced carbon intensity, for the building materials, packaging, and automotive industry. When completed, the facility will create 25 full-time jobs.
